Katrina Newman runs the Louisville KY Half Marathon!
The following is a blog post from
Katrina Newman who is a customer of ours and the promotions director for
WLDE, a local radio station in Fort Wayne.
"Louisville, KY Half
Marathon April 24, 2010: It was a rainy morning, but
soon turned sunny after about an hour. What a great race! If you are
an experienced
runner or just a beginner and looking for a ½ marathon or Marathon to
run…you
will not be disappointed with the Kentucky Derby Mini/Marathon. This
race
takes place each year one week before the World famous horse race “The
Kentucky
Derby”. It is a very well
organized race. Plenty of volunteers, lots of people to cheer you on,
LIVE MUSIC
nearly every 2 miles….. You even get to run around the inside of
Churchill Downs (my favorite part of the race…well….besides the
finish!) I know there were runners from the Fort Wayne area…I would love to hear
their thoughts!"
